I. Usage Methods

  1. Select the appropriate type: Choose non-abrasive (for daily cleaning), coarse-abrasive (for rust removal and heavy-duty dirt), or fine-abrasive (for fine polishing) scouring pads based on the nature of the cleaning task and the material of the object being cleaned.

  2. Use with cleaning agents: For stubborn stains, first wet the scouring pad with an appropriate amount of cleaning agent or solvent to enhance its decontamination effect. Ensure the cleaning agent is compatible with the object being cleaned.

  3. Apply appropriate pressure: During cleaning, wipe with moderate pressure to ensure sufficient cleaning force while avoiding damage to the surface of the object being cleaned. For delicate materials or fine surfaces, wipe gently.

  4. Change wiping directions: To remove dirt more comprehensively, adopt various wiping methods such as horizontal, vertical, and rotational, avoiding repeated wiping in the same direction to prevent scratches.

  5. Flip or replace in a timely manner: When one side of the scouring pad becomes worn or its cleaning effect weakens, flip it over to continue using. If both sides are severely worn, replace it with a new one promptly to maintain cleaning efficacy.

II. Maintenance and Care

  1. Rinse promptly: After each use, immediately rinse the scouring pad with clean water to remove residual dirt and cleaning agent, preventing stains from hardening and chemical substances from eroding. For scouring pads containing abrasive particles, ensure no residues remain between the particles.

  2. Dry thoroughly: After rinsing, place the scouring pad in a ventilated area to dry naturally, avoiding moisture retention that could lead to mold or bacterial growth. Do not expose it to direct sunlight or bake it to prevent deformation or melting of the fibrous material.

  3. Disinfect regularly: For scouring pads used in kitchens, bathrooms, or other areas with a risk of bacterial growth, regularly disinfect them by soaking in a disinfectant solution or heating in a microwave to ensure hygiene.

  4. Store properly: After drying, store the scouring pad in a ventilated, dry area, avoiding direct sunlight and humid environments. Keep different types of scouring pads separate to prevent confusion in use.

  5. Regularly inspect and replace: Regularly check the wear condition of the scouring pad. If signs such as loose fibers,脱落 (detached) abrasive particles, or unpleasant odors are observed, replace it with a new one promptly to ensure cleaning efficacy and usage safety.

By following the above usage and maintenance guidelines, users can fully utilize the cleaning efficacy of scouring pads while ensuring they remain in good working condition for an extended period, reducing usage costs, and improving the efficiency and quality of cleaning work.
